Video Transcript

Hi, my name is Hedi Alavi, and I'm going to demonstrate how to do declined bench lateral raises. So declined bench lateral raises use your mid deltoid muscle right here, your super serratus, that's your rotator cuff that's underneath your deltoid muscle and also your trapezius muscle which is right up here. You want to start on a platform at a 45 degree angle. The palm is parallel to the floor and you want to inhale as you lift your arm up and exhale as you bring your arm down. So make sure you are the one in control and not letting the weight bounce back and forth.
