- 1). Log in to your Twitter account.
- 2). Click on your name in the upper right corner and choose "Settings." Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- 3). Click "Deactivate my account."
- 4). Type your password in the box when prompted.
- 5). Confirm that you want to deactivate your account. You will then be logged out of Twitter and your original profile and updates will be gone.
