- 1). Enter the driver's side door. Press the brake. Keep your foot down on the brake pedal during the entire procedure.
- 2). Press the "Unlock" switch on the driver's side door panel to unlock all the truck doors.
- 3). Place the key in the ignition. Turn it as far as it will go without starting the engine to put it in the "RUN" position. Turn the key from the base "OFF" position to the "RUN" position eight times within 10 seconds. On the eighth and final turn, leave the key in the "RUN" position. If you hear the Ford truck doors lock and unlock, you have performed the step correctly.
- 4). Press a button on the F-250 original remote to program it. This must be done within 20 seconds of the previous step. The truck locks and unlocks again to confirm the programming has been completed. Repeat this step for a second remote to program it if desired. Remove the key from the ignition to exit the programming mode.
