- 1). Slide off the battery cover located on the side of the Virtual Wall.
- 2). Insert two D batteries and reinstall the cover.
- 3). Set the Virtual wall next to the area for which you do not want the Roomba to pass, such as a doorway.
- 4). Point the Virtual Wall's iRobot logo toward the off-limits area. Imagine a straight line emanating from the logo. The Roomba does not pass the line.
- 5). Set the distance meter, located below the power button. The Virtual Wall can beam as far as eight feet.
- 6). Push the power button to activate the Virtual Wall.
