When You"re Packing For Vacation Be Sure to Leave These Things Behind

103 11
Do you love to read on vacation? I think we all do.
But with so much free time on our hands we can usually plow through a couple books in just a week's vacation.
So what can you do to not only lighten your load but ensure that you can get your word freak on? Upgrade to an eReader.
eReaders are fantastic for travel.
They're light, can hold thousands of books and usually have a battery life of about two weeks.
Perfect for that trip or cruise down to the Caribbean.
A lot of people say that they will never switch to an eReader.
They love books.
They love how they feel, how they smell, and how they look on their Ikea book case at home.
I was the same way too.
That was until I got to play with an eReader for an hour or so.
Then father's day rolled around and my wife handed me a box and I knew exactly what was inside.
My new eReader.
I'm a true convert and I love it.
I'll never buy another "traditional" book again.
Not unless I have to.
And with more and more publishers converting their back lists to the epub or PDF formats I won't have to.
eBooks are cheaper than traditional books as well for the most part.
A standard hardcover new release will cost you about $29.
99 out the door.
While the same book in eBook format will usually go for about $14.
99 - $9.
99.
And if you're going away for longer than two weeks there are after market adapters that you can buy and take with you to make sure that your eReader stays charged so that you won't have to wait to see how your favorite book will end.
So for your next vacation make sure to budget into your expenses an eReader.
You'll be happy that you did.
