- 1). Place a holiday-themed cookie cutter on the card stock paper. Trace the cookie cutter image with a pencil. Using cookie cutters will give you a perfect Christmas shape.
- 2). Cut the tracing from the card stock. Decorate the cutout by coloring it with markers and crayons on both sides. You can also glue construction paper cutouts, glitter and foam pieces to the card stock for further decoration.
- 3). Punch a hole in the top center of the card stock ornament with a hole puncher. Cut a length of ribbon, preferably a ribbon that matches your ornament. Thread the ribbon through the hole, and then tie the ribbon together. Hang the paper tree ornament on your tree.
