- 1). Mix half a cup of primer with half a cup of thinner.
- 2). Pour the solution through a filter and into your paint gun.
- 3). Spray your bumper with an even coat of the primer and thinner solution. Allow the bumper to dry for four to five hours.
- 4). Pour 10 cups of water and half a cup of dishwashing soap into a bucket. Mix thoroughly.
- 5). Soak your sandpaper in the soap solution and use it to sand the bumper, keeping the bumper wet with a rag dipped in the solution. Sand in short motions and continue sanding until all the color is off of the bumper.
- 6). Rinse off the bumper with clean water and allow it to air dry.
- 7). Mix three ounces of paint and six ounces of reducer in a paint cup. Stir thoroughly with a paint stirrer.
- 8). Pour the mixture through a filter and into the paint gun.

Spray a second coat of paint onto the bumper. - 12

Spray on a coat of clear coat to complete the bumper.
