Facebook Addiction - It Takes You by Storm

103 1
Facebook has obviously done something right, more than any other social networking site available on the internet.
It used to be MySpace was the most talked about online avenue to your friends; a few other sites popped up like Netlog in which you could reconnect with friends.
However, nothing has taken off as much as Facebook.
For some reason this online networking site has gotten their marketing strategy down and now the other sites covet their users.
It is possible to have hundreds of friends in a short time.
You can also sign up for a plethora of games to enjoy while you talk to your friends.
Your personal details can be shared with all your friends, such as what you made for dinner or what you did that day or that minute.
Suddenly, you realise you have spent hours on Facebook rather than folding the laundry or other mundane tasks.
Studies have shown users even connect while they are at work to make postings.
Riding on the bus, metro, going from a friend's house to home, or going from club to club, users tend to give their every detail.
It seems many have Facebook Addiction.
Of course, it is all fun and most of us can stop when we wish to, so it's not a true addiction, but more a one of pleasure.
What tend to get us wrapped are games.
There are so many options for various types of people.
  The biggest addiction is Farmville.
It has the most users of any online game, and most especially of Facebook.
Farmville allows us to plant vegetables, flowers, and other seeds and watch them grow.
It is a simulated garden with animals, trees, buildings, and decorations.
We can have almost anything we desire, which lends itself to completing our dreams even in a virtual world.
There are games with pets, aquariums, war games, racing games, and even tests for how well you know your friends.
We sign up for these games and when one gets boring we move on.
Have you envisioned spending time on a tropical island? The games at Facebook make it happen with several virtual tropical island games.
Do you enjoy cooking?  There are plenty of places to set up your own virtual kitchen.
Cafe World is by far the most popular in this genre where you can continually revamp your kitchen atmosphere.
