Campbell River, British Columbia, located on East Vancouver Island, has a variety of pet friendly motels, hotels, inns and resorts. According to the Frommer's travel website, "for years, Campbell River has been known as the "Salmon-Fishing Capital of the World," probably because it is at the southern entrance to the Inside Passage, where warm Georgia Strait waters combine with cold northern waters to provide the ideal environment for salmon. Visitors enjoy activities such as hiking, canoeing, whale and bird watching, sightseeing and visiting museums of west coast native history, arts and culture. - Coast Discovery Inn & Marina is a pet friendly riverfront hotel.River image by D'D?'?D¡ãD?D?D1 from Fotolia.com
