Microwave hood fans, also known as "over the range" (OTR) microwaves, are becoming increasingly popular. Many homeowners choose these appliances as opposed to their counter-top counterparts to save space. Frigidaire offers many of these "OTR" microwaves with varying functions, from basic to advanced. All specifications are based on 2010 available models. - Of the many models available, Frigidaire offers options that range in exterior size and cubic-feet capacity. Widths range from 29 7/8 inches to 29 29/32 inches, while heights can be 16 3/8 inches to 17 1/16 inches. Depths vary from 15 1/32 inches to 18 15/32 inches.
The inside area of the appliances varies from 1.5 cubic feet to two cubic feet. Cutout dimensions are 30 inches width, 12 inches (minimum) to 14 inches (maximum) depth and 16 3/4 inches (minimum) to 17 inches (maximum) height. - Frigidaire OTR microwaves come in several colors.
