- 1). Call the Solid Waste & Recycling Office at 612-673-2917. Give them the following information: The day on which you want to drop off the bathroom fixtures, the name of the person dropping off the items and a Minnesota ID stating that you live at the address for which the voucher will be issued.
- 2). Bring the fixtures to be discarded to the South Transfer Station at 2850 20th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minn. For each voucher issued, you are allowed to dispose of a maximum of 2,000 lbs. of debris, plus two appliances, including televisions or computers. Additional appliances cost $20 each to discard.
- 3). Show your Minnesota identification card to the attendant when you arrive at the South Transfer Station on the day of disposal. He will verify that you have called ahead to arrange for a voucher before you are allowed to unload the items.
- 4). Unload the bathroom fixtures under the direction of the attendants of the transfer station, who will direct you to the proper areas to dispose of your particular items.
