Fortunately, the list of your followers and followed, however impressive their numbers may be, need not be published and open in Google Buzz. A little tweak in your Google profile can restore your Gmail contacts' privacy in an instant.

Hide Your Followers and Who You Follow in Google Buzz

To hide the list of people you follow and who follows you (and, by consequence, possibly your key Gmail contacts) in Google Buzz:

• Open the page to edit your Google profile.
• Go to the About me tab.
• Make sure Display the list of people I'm following and people following me is not checked.
• Click Save changes (at the page's very bottom).
