Hi, I'm Omar, and I'm a programmer. Today, I'm gonna show you how to do symbols on a Mac. So, I opened up text edit to show this to you. So in text edit, I can put any text I want. And if I want to show a symbol, I'll go to the edit menu and click special characters. This is the menu that shows up when I click special characters on the edit menu. As you can see, there are a lot of different symbols to choose from. Let's go to miscellaneous and choose a happy face symbol, and just click insert, and as you can see in the background, all these symbols are getting inserted. You can go ahead and choose whatever symbols you want and insert them into your file. You can also copy and paste these symbols, because they're just regular text. So I just cut the smiley that I just inserted, and I could paste it a number of times. I'm Omar, and I just showed you how to insert symbols on a Mac. Have a good day.
