- 1). Turn the headlight switch to the off position.
- 2). Push the switch in towards the dashboard. The switch will go in anywhere from 3/16-inch to 1/4-inch. The headlight switch has two parts, the inner switch that allows you to choose on/ off and the outer right that sits in place into the dashboard. The center ring will be the part that pushes in.
- 3). Twist the switch clockwise until it stops. This will unlock the switch from the dashboard.
- 4). Pull the headlight switch straight out of its slot.
- 5). Line up the new headlight switch with the slot in the dashboard.
- 6). Slide the switch into the slot, then twist it counter-clockwise until it locks in place.
- 7). Test the headlight switch.
