- 1). Wash the earthworms with either collected rain water or with water from a river. You could eat them with the dirt still on them, but it will be gritty and will probably feel like you are eating mushy sand.
- 2). Hold your nose, open wide and swallow the worms one by one. Earthworms are pretty slimy creatures so you can shoot them down your throat and just imagine as if you were sucking down an oyster. Chewing is always an option, but it requires you to stop and concentrate on what you are doing (eating worms), which may make you nauseated to the point where you stop eating them and thereby lose out on needed nutrients.
- 3). Dry the worms out in the sun and grind them into a powder. Put the powder into your water for some soup. As an alternative to this step, you can dry the worms out and eat them whole.
