How to Synchronize Outlook Reminders
- 1). Double-click the Microsoft Outlook icon to open the program and click "Calendar."
- 2). Click the "Actions" drop-down and select the option for "New Recurring Appointment."
- 3). Enter the start time for the appointment under "Appointment Time" in the "Appointment Recurrence" dialog box. Enter the start time again in the "End" list. The start and end times need to match for the reminder to display correctly.
- 4). Select the "Recurrence Pattern" and then the range or duration of the occurrence. Click the "OK" button to set the reminder. Click "Save and Close" to complete the setup for the reminder.
- 1). Download Google Calendar Sync to your desktop (see Resources). Double-click the "GoogleCalendarSync_Installer.exe" to install the program on your system.
- 2). Double-click the Google Calendar Sync icon to run the program. Enter your email address and password for your Google account into the text boxes.
- 3). Select the Sync option to use with Microsoft Outlook. If you want to see updates on both your Google Calendar and the Microsoft Outlook Calendar, select the two-way sync option.
- 4). Select the interval for syncing the calendars by entering an amount into the "Sync Every___ Minutes" text box.
- 5). Click the "Save" button to complete the process and sync your Microsoft Outlook Calendar and your Google Calendar.
