- 1). Soak a cotton ball in witch hazel and rub it over the entire scalp to remove built-up oil and dirt. This will help the silk hairpiece stick better.
- 2). Position the hairpiece on your head, making sure to line it up with your natural hair line. If you're completely bald, position it where your hair line used to be.
- 3). Fold the front half of the hairpiece back and clip it in place, otherwise it will be in the way when you apply your adhesive.
- 4). Squirt a dot of glue onto your forehead and spread the glue evenly over the hairline where the front of the hairpiece will sit.
- 5). Allow the glue to dry and turn clear, then apply a second coat.
- 6). Allow the second coat of glue to dry and turn clear before applying the final coat.
- 7). Wash your hands with soap and water to remove any adhesive.
- 8). Unclip the hairpiece and carefully fold it back down onto your forehead.
