- 1). Open your "Applications" menu and launch "Market." Type "ROM Manager" in the search box.
- 2). Tap "ROM Manager." ClockworkMod Recovery, an application recommended by the Nook Quickie Scream developer for flashing the ROM, is part of ROM Manager. Tap "Install," "OK" and "Allow" to get this application on your Nook.
- 3). Download the Nook Quickie ROM from the developer's site at Github.com and save this zip file to your microSD card. Launch ROM Manager and tap "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery" to install this part of the application.
- 4). Tap "Install ROM from SD card" after the ClockworkMod Recovery flash process completes. Tap "Backup Existing ROM" to have a backup in case you have any problems with Quickie. Once you confirm this setting, your Nook Color reboots into ClockworkMod Recovery and flashes your Nook with the Quickie ROM. It boots back up once the process completes.
