Addressing the Issue on Abortion
By definition abortion is the termination of pregnancy or the removal or expulsion of the fetus or the embryo from the uterus.
It can be spontaneous due to complications during pregnancy or something induces which means coerced removal.
They say life begins upon conception.
So that brings us to question whether it is but right to give out legality to abortion.
There are countries however who do allow this deed saying that it is a choice made by a woman impregnated as it is her body.
There are three facts however that bring us to see this through--actually three issues that needs to be addressed; 1.
The fetus 2.
The woman and her body 3.
Rape Firstly let's talk about the fetus.
The fetus is a not part of the woman's body; it has its own identity.
It is a different individual than the mother and is therefore can be said as a person inside a woman's body (not part of it).
The responsibility to care for it primarily should come from the mother.
Anything that she feels and do to herself can affect it.
Life of the fetus is supported to the umbilical cord that serves as the passage way for the fetus to receive whatever nutrients (and even toxins) that the mother eats and breathes.
The people around the mother are also responsible for the fetus she carries.
Background check can tell that they influence or induce whatever she would intake and therefore affect the health of the fetus till it comes out of the womb.
Public records on studies say that brain activity of the fetus happens in the duration of weeks one to four.
The moment the nervous system is developed it he has already the foundation of thoughts, senses, feelings and more.
It is therefore logical to say that this is one proof that the child inside is indeed entitled to its right to live.
The second thing that needs to be understood is the mother's body.
A woman's uterus is said to grow 1000 times during pregnancy.
Her body has the ability to adjust to the needs of the child and therefore whatever may affect her also affects the fetus.
It is one amazing thing in human history.
The issue in abortion has always asked the question as to whether it is also the mother's right to decide the removal of the individual inside her.
Here's another question: what are the reasons behind it? whether the reasons behind is humane or not they are still reasons that needs to be weighed firstly and checked even by doctors to decide as to the what they need to do.
One such case is the mother's health or the fetus'.
In some states in the United States, they say that in the event that the fetus' health is in danger or has some complications, abortion is allowed (this has been a basis for the said activity to be legalized).
This also applies with regards to the mother.
In the case that a choice needs to be made between the lives of the mother and the child (critical that will lead to death on either) the mother's life should be chosen first, except in the event that the mother chose to take risk and accept the outcome.
For any coerced removal of the fetus, there should be no search for people or an individual to blame at the end if the reason behind it is something unjustifiable to both man and God.
The third thing that needs to be discussed is the issue of rape.
Rape is a sexual assault of a person by involving coerced sexual intercourse with or without penetration of another person without that person's consent.
Criminal records defined this as one of the most violating laws that even abortion is addressed by this.
It is a violation of rights, of a person's dignity and a person's individuality.
Impregnating makes it worst.
Although most women may think that it is because she carries the seed of someone who ruined her, it is the fact that the child is denied the right of a good family or a was brought up due to violence that made it worst.
However, no matter how the child was conceived the right for to live is still there that is why to legalized abortion due to the reason of rape is one which is still questioned and at times debated.
