    • 1). Cut a small hole in the center of a gourd, an artichoke, a squash, and an apple. Actually, the vegetables and fruits can be anything that you might have laying around, get creative! Place all of the items on a nice harvest serving platter. Place a variety of candles in the holes that you have cut but take at least one of the bigger vegetables and use the hole for a small bouquet of flowers. Light the candles for a beautiful fall table piece.

    • 2). Gather a plain glass jar, 2 cups of uncooked popcorn kernels, and a harvest colored candle (the thicker kind that stand on their own). Place the candle in the jar and simply pour the popcorn kernels into the jar around the sides of the candle but not on it.

    • 3). Create a beautiful harvest centerpiece by collecting a pillar candle, a small pumpkin, some pine cones, a gourd, moss, berries, a few fallen leaves, and a couple of broken twigs from your yard. Cut a hole in the top of the pumpkin big enough to fit the candle. With a hot glue gun attach the moss, berries, and pine cones around the outer mouth of the pumpkin so it nestles the candle. Lay the twigs in front and scatter the rest around the pumpkin.

    • 4). Use a basket that has a rugged look to it and simply fill it with gourds of all colors. Next, just tie a white ribbon around the handle of the basket and this makes a wonderful table decoration to place in a foyer or in a bathroom.

    • 5). Buy a cornucopia basket from an arts and crafts store. Lay the cornucopia in the center of your table and fill it with berries, gourds, grapes, and loose fall colored flowers. Arrange them so that they are spilling out onto the table.
