How to Remove Old Stickers From Car Windows

104 5
    • 1). Open all of the car doors so the car is well-ventilated. This will lessen the chance that you will breathe in fumes from the products you will be using to remove the stickers.

    • 2). Heat the old stickers with a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive. Put the hair dryer on its lowest setting and hold it 3 to 4 inches from the window. Make sure you move the hair dryer back and forth instead of focusing on only one area.

    • 3). Scrape the stickers off the window with a plastic spatula. It's okay if the stickers come off in pieces. If some of the stickers will not come off, heat them with the hair dryer for a few more seconds.

    • 4). Place a cap full of rubbing alcohol on a clean towel and wipe off any remaining sticker adhesive. For larger areas, you may need to add more alcohol to the towel.

    • 5). Spray a glass cleaner on the window and use a paper towel to clean it to remove the alcohol.
