- 1). Place the package on a hard, flat surface.
- 2). Lock a can opener into place along an edge of the packaging. Turn the handle on the can opener to open an edge of the packaging.
- 3). Insert a sharp knife into the opened edge of the packaging. Carefully slide the knife along the edge until the packaging is cut open enough to spread the sides apart from each other.
- 4). Break open the sides of the packaging and remove the contents.
- 5). Discard or recycle the packaging, being careful of any sharp edges when handling.
