Travelling With Friends - Should You Do It?

103 38
Do you have any good friends? Are the travel worthy friends? I think there are two groups of friends: Group 1: Friends That You Can Hang Out With Group 2: Friends That You Can Travel With Sometimes a friend from group 1 falls into both categories but sometimes traveling with a friend can put an end even to the longest of friendships.
Traveling is stressful.
The long lines, layovers, and jet-lag all contribute to creating a cranky traveler.
Any and all of these can put pressure on the best of friends and happiest of couples.
So what can you do to make sure that you're traveling with an optimal travel buddy? 1) Go On A Mini-Trip Beforehand Going on a mini-trip will give you a condensed opportunity to see how you and your friend will get along under similar circumstances.
2) Think About How They React Under Stress Think back to a time when your potential co-traveler was under some stress.
How did they react? How did they manage the pressure? Did they keep their cool? Did they lose their mind? 3) Go For A Sleep Over Make arrangements to spend the night at their house.
See how they live.
Discover their quirks.
Are they a slob? Maybe they're a neat freak.
Where everything has to be placed just so and everything must go according to plan.
People sometimes are a lot different behind closed doors.
Almost like Dr.
Jekyll and Mr.
Hyde.
You want to make sure that you enjoy your time away.
And you want to ensure that you don't lose a friend.
Taking some time before you plan a trip to really get to know your travel partner will save your sanity and guarantee that you have a good time.
