• Ireland may be reached by flight, train and coach. All major cities in Ireland have airports, but it is often cheaper to fly into the smaller airports. Many people travel throughout the United Kingdom and opt to take a coach or train into Ireland from another part of the United Kingdom.

• Ireland has housing opportunities such as small bed and breakfasts, hotels, manor homes, castles and self-catering homes. Bed and breakfasts and hotels are quaint, but for larger groups, manor homes and castles make for a different, but pleasurable, experience.
  
  

Currency

• Currency differs depending on what part of Ireland you are visiting. In the Republic of Ireland, the currency is the Euro, like the rest of the European Union. If you are in Northern Ireland, however, you must use the sterling pound like in England.

• The average temperature in Ireland is 9 degrees Celsius. It is not uncommon for it to be windy and rainy.
  
  

Events

• All year long Ireland has many festivals and events in which to participate. Each county has different events based on what it is known for. Some examples include the Rose of Trade, Galway Arts Festival and Waterford International Festival of Light Opera.

• Ireland is divided by counties that host different historical values, landmarks and customs. County Antrim is the capital of Northern Ireland; County Clare is along the seaside. County Kerry is "The Kingdom" while County Galway is known for its medieval roots. County Cork is the biggest county and home of the Blarney Stone; County Dublin is one of the most popular areas in the country.
