How to Make Indian Bows & Arrows in Pictures
- 1). Place the paper on a flat surface.
- 2). Draw a figure in the shape of the capital letter "D" to begin sketching the bow.
- 3). Draw another line from top of curved part of the "D" figure to the bottom of the curve.
- 4). Draw a rectangle in the center of the double-lined curve along the "D" shape. This will be the bow's hand grip.
- 5). Add cross-cross marks through the rectangle to add detail to the hand grip. Draw these marks as you would the letter "X" from the top of the rectangle to the bottom, ensuring that the bottom of each "X" touches the top of the next one.
- 6). Draw a rectangle next to the bow. The rectangle should be narrow in width and the length of the bow. This will serve as the arrow.
- 7). Draw a triangle at the top of the arrow so that the base of the triangle sits atop the rectangle.
- 8). Draw an angled line on both sides of the arrow at the arrow's midway point. This will represent feathers on the arrow.
- 9). Draw an angled line on both sides of the arrow near the bottom of the arrow.
- 10
Connect the ends of the angles on the left side using a straight line and repeat on the right side. - 11
Add straight lines to the insides of the feathers to add greater details. - 12
Add a small diamond-shaped figure at the bottom of the arrow to represent the arrow's tail.
