Models Direct Uncover the Kate Moss Leaves Topshop Rumours
The newest statement to be released by Topshop has announced that Kate Moss won't be leaving the company. Instead the supermodel will be working on Limited Edition 'drop-in collections' set to replace her seasonal collections.
The news comes after much speculation that Kate had been dropped after Arcadia Group business tycoon Sir Philip Green had decided to bring his young teenage daughter Chloe to replace her role within the company.
Kate has been far from the perfect face for the high street brand over the years. One notes a particularly uncomfortable night for Sir Philip Green when the face of his company was witnessed pole-dancing and swearing in front of photographers at the GQ awards. Not only this, but Sir Philip Green employed Moss shortly after her cocaine scandal.
Problems have also arisen with the style icon devoting less and less time to the collections, with a peak of six a year dwindling to only two. It would seem then that the decision to produce one-off collections will suit both parties. Kate Moss is indisputably an iconic figurehead for the company and the Limited Edition drop-in collections will enable Topshop to maintain the working relationship they have with Moss, whilst also solving the lack of commitment Kate has shown to the company of late.
To celebrate the new chapter Kate Moss has personally chosen her top ten all-time favourites from her past 14 collections which will be sold under the new label 'Iconic Kate'.
