- 1). Stand a two-liter soda bottle upright and notice where the top of the container starts to curve in towards the opening. Puncture the bottle at this point and cut off the top of the soda bottle.
. - 2). Flip the bottle top that you just cut off upside down and insert it back into the base of the soda bottle. It will look like you have placed a funnel into a cylinder.
- 3). Tape the edges of the bottle with duct tape.
- 4). Set the bottle upright into the center of the cardboard square. Tape the bottle to the cardboard. The cardboard prevents the mousetrap from tipping over when the mouse climbs in.
- 5). Put cheese into the hole in the bottle. Set the mousetrap near where you think the mouse is hiding.
