- The 2.5 S version of the 2005 Altima had an manufacturer's suggested retail price of $19,300 and an invoice price of $18,051. There were four 2005 Altima models that sold for more than the 2.5 S, and a basic Altima that sold for slightly less. The 2.5 S had less horsepower than some of the more expensive models. It also lacked traction control, which three of the pricier models featured.
