Information on the Honda Element
- The Element features a clamshell tailgate and suicide doors to open the interior up as much as possible, making it easier to load and unload people and cargo. The rear seats can be folded, laid down or removed to make space as well, resulting in 64 different space options based on manipulating the seats alone.
- The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named the Honda Element a 2010 Top Safety Pick. All Elements feature four-wheel anti-lock brakes, a tire pressure monitoring system and stability-assistance mechanism that senses over- and under-steering. In addition, the frame is equipped with side-impact door beams to protect against passenger side collisions.
- The Element is made with a 166-horsepower, 16-valve, 2.4-liter engine that allows for cruising power and quiet while running. In addition, it can tow up to 1,500 lbs.
