- 1). Gather records such as passports, visas and driver's license since the Registrar of Births in the Cayman Islands is going to require some proof that you are legally entitled to receive a copy of your, or someone else's, birth certificate. One that would be very useful is the Live Birth Notification Form issued by the hospital in Cayman. Make copies of these.
- 2). Contact the Cayman Islands Registry of Births to request that they send you the form you will need. You can call them at (345) 946 7922, mail them at Registrar of Births, Ground Floor, Citrus Grove Building, Goring Avenue, Grand Cayman, or you can make this request by email at: cigenreg@gov.ky
- 3). When you receive your paperwork, fill it in and send it to the return address, including copies of your other paper work (visas, license, etc). Also include the processing fee of CI$10 for each copy you wish to receive. You should receive your birth certificate within a few days.
