Look for it when you are deciding whom to hire.
If a company offers impeccable service, word of mouth alone will let them stay in the community and thrive.
With a company that has only been in business for a couple of years, you don't have anything to go on.
Reviews will probably be scarce.
They could very well be the best contractors in the state, but you are taking a risk by hiring them.
Play it conservatively and hire only those contractors who have been around the block a time or two.
