Video: What Do You Traditionally Drink With Crepes?
Video Transcript
Hi, my name is Karl Franz and I'm the owner and head barman of 67 Orange Street. Today, I'm going to show you what to drink with crepes. Crepes are fantastic, a great French dessert and so, I thought they would go really great some sort of a aperitif wine. I really love Amaros and I think, a good Amaro like Averna, Cynar would be nice you know, to have a small sip of, with your crepes. But since this is, since crepes are free, I though it would be interesting to do something a little bit more French. And so, we'll use Lillet, which is a French aperitif wine. And add a little bit of this to our glass and then, we'll finish it with some sparkling champagne. Obviously in order for champagne to be champagne, it has to come from Champagne, Champagne region in France. Otherwise, just use sparkling wine, sparkling wine is fine. Again, obviously since they were crepes, a nice French one goes great. There you go, cheers. Again, my name is Karl Franz and this is 67 Orange Street and I've just shown you what to drink with crepes.
