How to Use the Reverse of Stretch Satin
- 1). Turn the stretch satin over so the underside is facing up. Run an iron over the material quickly, on a low setting, to make this side as smooth as the shiny side.
- 2). Fold the edges of the fabric under, so the edges are now placed against the shiny side and the reverse side has a smooth edge.
- 3). Secure the folds down with straight pins, placing one pin about ever four inches.
- 4). Sew a line along each edge so the stitches hold down the folds.
- 5). Remove the straight pins before using the fabric.
