Types of Soy Candles

Tea Lights

• The smallest type of candle, tea lights feature a round, silver tin as their base. Tea lights made from soy tend to have a white color, though colorful soy tea lights also are available. Soy tea lights may also be scented or unscented.
  
  

Votives

• Slightly bigger than tea lights, votives make decorating easy, thanks to a compact design and the wide variety of decorative, votive-sized candle holder displays. Votives also are pleasing because they come in a wide variety of scents and colors.
  
  

Pillars

• The tallest and broadest type of candle, pillar soy candles are typically round, 2 inches wide and can be more than 1 foot tall. Available scented or unscented, pillar soy candles may come with two or three wicks due to their larger size and do not require candle holders due to their wide bases.
  
  

Molded

• Soy candles may be molded to resemble any shape imaginable, including stars, hearts, flowers, food, animals and more. Molded soy candles may float on water, depending on the design. Floating soy candles feature a larger base, which provides the proper surface to float on top of water.
