How to Make Homemade Jelly Air Fresheners
- 1). Boil one cup of water in a small non-stick pan. Remove from heat.
- 2). Add 10 to 20 drops of essentials oils to the boiling water. Add more drops for a stronger aroma or use less for a milder scent.
- 3). Add several drops of food coloring to the water until you have reached the desired color intensity.
- 4). Pour four packages of plain gelatin into the water and stir with a wooden or plastic spoon until completely dissolved.
- 5). Sprinkle in two teaspoons of salt to prevent mold from growing on the gelatin.
- 6). Pour the remaining cup of water into the gelatin mix, stirring slowly to keep the gelatin from foaming.
- 7). Pour the gelatin mix into a heatproof glass jar and let sit for two or three days to cure. Once cured, cover with a perforated lid to allow the aroma to escape.
