You can start an online business with very little or no money, but I caution you.
In your eagerness to make a million dollars online, don't sacrifice your health.
I remember when I started online years ago, I did just that.
I sacrificed my health and well-being all in the name of making money online.
Don't do this.
If you follow these steps, you should be able to get something going.
You need to make sure that you first do your market research to find a profitable niche that you know there are buyers eager to buy.
Once you've researched and found your niche, purchase your domain name, hosting package and autoresponder software.
You'll need an inexpensive autoresponder service like this since you'll require a list to capture the names and email addresses of your visitors.
But to keep it simple, go to a registrar to get your domain and hosting.
Since they're both with the same company it will be easier for you to manage your logins since you're just getting started.
You want to keep it as simple as possible as you start your online venture.
Once you've set all of this up (purchased your domain, set up your hosting with your domain, set up an autoresponder with an inexpensive autoresponder company), you're now ready to drive traffic to your website! One of the best ways to get traffic without spending a dime is by writing your own niche-related articles to drive traffic to your website.
At the end of your articles you'll need to include a bio or resource box.
This is where you can promote and link to your website.
You need your bio/resource box to be a call-to-action so that your visitor signs up with your opt-in form by entering their name and email address.
This will allow you to email them and make offers to them again and again.
You can either direct them to sign up for your newsletter, mini-course or free report.
Whatever you do, make sure it's an enticing offer that they can't refuse.
Once they sign up to get your offer, make sure that you also have a thank you page.
A thank you page is so important because that is where you'll make them your initial offer.
Simply lead them to an affiliate product recommendation on your thank you page.
So, the thank you page is going to be your affiliate link that they're going to land on so you can start getting sales.
And then you can actually send them emails driving them back to your offers, through that same affiliate link.
A lot of times affiliate programs will give you emails you can send.
Well, guess what? You're going to send those emails out to those people that sign up.
This saves you both time and money because the emails are already pre-written for you.
So that's something to think about there.
That's actually what I did when I first got started.
Follow these steps and you're sure to begin to see some sales funneling in for you.
