MY WEARY WARRIOR
Ephesians 6:10 -11 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
I know this journey hasn't been easy for you, and it has left you drained and feeling overwhelmed. I know you don't just "think" it has been hard; "it has been hard." You feel as though this problem, this trial that you are going through will go on forever. Trust in Me My child, it won't. Hold on, it's going to end.
You have been tried, tested, and retested. Your beliefs and your faith have been tried in the fire. It seems as though as soon as you get up on your feet, you got knocked back down again. You believed, then doubted, then worked at believing some more. You said, "Lord if I could have just one word." The word came; you grabbed hold of it, believed, and then a storm came and shook you so hard it caused you to do as Peter did and take your eyes off the word and look at the storm
"Oh, Lord I believe, please help my unbelief. Lord, what's happening to me?" you cried.
My Weary Warrior, in spite of all that has been happening around you, you have continued to labor in My Name. Even though sometimes the only thing that motivated you to keep going was fear and frustration. My child, I want you to know I've been right there by your side. When more problems occurred than you anticipated, and frustrations kept coming, you had to do as David did and encourage yourself. I know you didn't believe it would take this long, but it did, and you learned patience. You never thought you could have, but you did. I am so proud of you.
There were moments when you thought I had forgotten about you. Oh yes, you thought I had abandoned you. Now you know I never left you. I never turned away. Now things are coming into place. You see you are almost at the end of this journey. Each step has been ordained by Me, and has changed you from the inside out. It has not been easy, but being made over never is.
Now, you are near the end of the climb, and soon the victory shall be yours. I know there have been times you have thought that climb would never end. But it is, now steady yourself and breathe in deeply. Selah. Move forward in confidence and peace. Now you can feel it in your spirit. Peace, joy, abundant blessings are yours.
Remember warrior; there will be more mountains, but now you know how to climb them. The secret is to trust Me, hold on, don't look back, and to keep climbing. You will make it because I AM leading the way and holding you. I will make sure you have success. You will make it; just don't give up on Me. Weary warrior, don't give up.
My Prayer Confession,
Lord, I promise to stand, to hold on, not to look back, and to keep climbing because I know that you are with me and will never leave me no matter what I am going through. Oh Lord, I do believe, please help my unbelief.
