- 1). Locate the access panel for the bolts that secure the mirror to the Honda's faring. The panel is inside the faring, directly opposite where the mirror bolts onto the outside of the faring. The panel is square and painted to match the color of the faring.
- 2). Place a small flathead screwdriver into the indentation on the panel and pry it off the faring.
- 3). Remove the two nuts that secure the mirror to the outside of the faring using the ratchet and correct size of socket. Pull the mirror away from the faring.
- 4). Slide the studs on the new mirror through the outside of the faring and secure them using the nuts, socket and ratchet.
- 5). Place the cover back onto the faring and press it into place using your thumb.
