- 1). Select either "Career" or "Quick Race" from the main menu screen and select "Tier 2." From the "Tier 2" menu, choose the "Car Battle" category and select the second race. The Nissan 350z versus the Honda S2000 at the Dakota Club track. This is a short race, against relatively easy AI opponents. But the reward for winning with three stars is 80,000, unusually high for such a short and easy event.
- 2). Return to the main menu and select "Quick Race." Choose a Drift race at the Miyatomi Oval, and set the lap number to 20. As the track is a straight oval, it's relatively straightforward to finely adjust the steering and throttle until you can hold a drift for an entire lap, allowing you to easily win the race with a score of around 15,000. The monetary rewards for the drift races are actually quite low, but the massive quantities of XP that can be gained will allow you to level up extremely quickly. Each level increase awards a large sum of cash, usually somewhere in the region of 50,000 to 100,000.
- 3). Use your invitation to the invitational event "CCX Vs Reventon at Donington." This is another extremely profitable race. Three laps around the short course will take less than five minutes, and if you win, you'll be awarded 160,000. Repeat twice to clear the 300,000 target. Keep repeating whichever event you found the easiest to win until you have the desired amount of cash. By sticking to these events, it should be possible to hit the target in no more than four or five races.
