Using the Add or Remove Programs Feature

• 1). Launch the Add or Remove Programs feature. From the Windows Start menu, click "Control Panel" and then click "Add or Remove Programs." The Add or Remove Programs window displays.
  
  
• 2). Scroll through the list of currently installed programs to locate the one you wish to remove.
  
  
• 3). Click to select the program and then click "Remove." A dialog box usually displays asking if you are sure you want to remove the chosen program. However, this doesn't always happen, make sure you really want to remove the program before clicking "Remove."
  
  If the dialog box displays, click "Yes" to continue the removal or "No" to cancel the removal.
  
  
• 4). A progress window displays as the specific files are accessed and removed. Once complete, the program is removed from the currently installed programs list. Click the red "X" in the upper right corner of each open window to close it.
