Basic ointments, creams and eczema lotions are ideal to stabilize the skin condition after the inflammation has gone down.
Here a number of different ingredients can be found that help relieving the itching, greasing the skin and increasing the skin moisture.
They help in stabilizing the disturbed skin barrier and equalizing the lack of fat and moisture.
A consistent skin care is key to keep clear of the outbreaks.

Particularly diets for eczema in children, bear the risk for malnutrition.
Is eczema contagious? Eczema is a non-contagious, inflammatory skin disease.
It can not be transferred through contact with the skin either.
