- 1). Climb up through the steep ledges on the west side of Blackthorn City to the cave entrance. Check to see if all your Pokemon are fully healed.
- 2). Proceed into Ice Path. Walk to the line where the solid ground meets the ice. Step onto the ice facing forward. You will slide all the way across and into a row of rocks. Turn east, and slide into the cave wall. Now slide south until you hit the rock that touches the wall. Slide west across the ice to the other wall, then slide south again. You should now be in the lower-left corner of the ice. Go east again back to the other wall. Walk north until you hit the rock touching the wall. Slide to the west into the next rock. Finally, slide north until you're out of the ice and on solid ground on the other side.
- 3). Find the ladder to the north. Go down it, and start walking to the east. Ignore the big patch of ice with the boulder in front of it. Continue through the hall until you find the next ladder, and climb down it.
- 4). Go north across the ice at the bottom of the ladder, until you reach the next ladder. Climb down that ladder to the next room. Head north from the ladder again, and follow the pathway to the other side of the room, ignoring the platform with the ledge. Climb up the next ladder, and you'll be in the infamous ice puzzle chamber.
- 5). Head to the top-right corner of the patch of solid ground you're standing on. Step onto the ice, and slide north to the adjacent rock with the boulder on the north side of it. Slide to the east into the next rock. Go south to the other side of the chamber, and east until you hit the rock. Now slide north again, until you land on the patch of solid ground with a ladder on it.
- 6). Go up the ladder. Walk to the west, avoiding the holes in the floor, until you reach the wall. Walk south to the ladder, and climb it to the final room, where you will see a flight of stairs. Climb up the stairs, passing the bald man, to the platform at the top. Go west on the platform until you reach the stairs on the other side.
- 7). Walk down the stairs to the edge of the solid ground. Stand in the middle part of the path, and push out onto the ice. Slide across the ice until you hit the rock, then slide south to the cave wall. Go east, and step off the ice. Continue east to the stairs. Climb up the stairs onto the raised path. Follow the path to the stairs on the other side. Go down the stairs, and then slide onto the ice until you're across it. Pick up the pathway again, and continue along it until you find the exit.
- 8). Leave the cave, and you'll be on Route 44. Hop over the ledge in front of you, and head west to a long flight of stairs. Take them down to a dirt path. Follow that path, avoiding any people in your way. Cross the bridge over the lake, and continue along the path until you get to Mahogany Town.
