If you are coming to Goa from a place in India that is situated too far away and traveling by train, make sure you book your tickets in advance to get confirmed reservation. Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church

This is one of the first churches to be built in Goa in the 16th century. Considering how few people lived in this remote part of Goa in those times, the wealth and opulence of this white structure seems to be unbelievable. 

Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

This is a must visit place if you are in Goa along with your family and kids. Situate in northeastern part of Goa, this sanctuary is covered with dense forest and contains a small zoo, a deer safari park, a rose garden, and an education centre. Your kids will love the time they spend in this beautiful wildlife sanctuary. 

Colva Beach

This is one of the most beautiful beaches of Goa that is also the oldest one. It is spread over an area of 25 sq km and there are palm trees lined all along the beach. The sand is mesmerizing white and the water is clear blue. This beach was used during the colonial days as a resting place for the wealthy class. Have wonderful time in the company of nature here. 

Arvalem Caves and Watrerfalls

This ancient structure is situated in a town called Bicholim in the northern part of the state. These caves are rock cut and believed to have been made in 6th century. They are also known as Pandava Caves. Near the caves are beautiful waterfalls called Aravalem waterfalls where water falls from a height of 70 meters. 

Agauda Fort

This fort was built by the Portuguese in 1612 to defend the city from Dutch and Maratha advances. This fort overlooks the Arabian Sea and has a lighthouse that was used to keep an eye on the enemy moves. There is a five star Taj Resort in the nearby Sinquerim Beach that is very elegant and impressive.
