    • Honda offered the 1989 Honda Accord in several models and trims. The two-door hatchback came in DX and LXi trims; the two-door coupe model came in DX, LXi, SE and SEi trims; and the four-door sedan model came in DX, LX, LXi and SEi trims. Each model had similar interior and exterior specifications but varied with regard to optional and special features.

The four-speed automatic transmission averaged 22 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. All models came equipped with a 15.9-gallon fuel tank.

    • The 1989 Honda Accord sedan model featured standard seating capacity for five adults. Interior dimensions included front headroom of 38.7 inches, front hip room of 52.8 inches, front legroom of 42.8 inches, front shoulder room of 54.9 inches, rear headroom of 37.1 inches, rear hip room of 55.7 inches, rear legroom of 32.4 inches and rear shoulder room of 54.5 inches.

    Exterior
