How to Keep My Feet Warm at Night

Things You'll Need

Instructions

1

Put on a pair of thin and loose-fitting socks made of insulating material, such as wool or silk.
2

Place a larger pair of wool socks over these socks. Make sure the socks don’t bind--good circulation is important. If you aren’t going to put warming booties over these socks, microwave a pair of microwavable foot-warmer insoles and put them into the socks before putting them on.
3

Put on a pair of warming booties that have microwaveable insoles or inserts (after you’ve microwaved the insoles/inserts). These can be reused many times. As an alternative, you can use disposable air-activated foot warmers, but these cannot be used over and over and can therefore get expensive if you need to warm your feet nightly.
4

Fold an extra blanket of any warm material and place it over the foot of the bed. The extra layer should help keep your feet warmer as you sleep.
