My favorite rotary cutter is Omnigrid Pressure Sensitive Rotary Cutter. The blade is always covered unless you are applying pressure in the process of cutting. There is a lock to hold the blade cover in place when the tool is not in use or being transported. The handle has ridges which are comfortable to hold and prevent your hand from sliding.
