Allegro 2000: The Pride of Eastern Europe
The wings of this particular LSA may have frames made of metal but the surfaces are made of fabric materials, which all the more make the plane lighter. The cabin is also a bit spacious but its most admirable feature is its organic glass surface that is wide enough to offer a very good view of the horizon as well as the sight on the ground. It is because of this design that the plane is much preferred by those who would like to go sightseeing. A roomy cabin and a wonderful view; these are what the flyers would really want to have in an aircraft. This Allegro certainly gives it to them.
The Allegro 2000, as well as its manufacturer, came from the Czech Republic. This country is not very known when it comes to heavy industries and manufacturing. But surprisingly, it is leading when it comes to LSA development and manufacturing, at least in the region where it belongs, which is Eastern Europe. When people from other countries, particularly from the US found out about the Allegro, they immediately tried flying the plane to find out whether it has what it takes to become popular in their lands too. Indeed, the Allegro passed their tests with flying colors. It did not take long before these planes are now found in the US.
There are actually several Allegro models created by Fantasy Air, the manufacturer. The Allegro 2000, however, is considered to be one of the more admired ones. This variant has wings that are more tapered. This makes the plane's aerodynamic capabilities more effective. In the US, this Allegro model could be registered as a Basic Ultra-light aircraft. This may be called as such because of the fact that its take-off weight at the maximum could barely reach 544 kilos. Because of its being very light, however, it is loved by flying enthusiasts in the US and in other parts of the globe. This is indeed Eastern Europe's pride when it comes to LSA.
