The first thing to know when trying to get a flat stomach is that what you eat is more important than how much you work out.
You really don't need to make it complicated by trying to find out what food contains how many calories and fat and things like that.
The important thing is to eat those types of food which are the most nutritious and also those that are naturally available and not processed or man-made.
So following this principle you should eat foods that are whole and real.
You should always focus on the quality of the food in terms of its nutritious value.
This means that you should eat meat and vegetables because they're the most naturally available foods for human consumption.
And they also rank high on the quality scale.
This might sound obvious but in practice, looking at our present day diet, it's harder to follow because we're surrounded by artificial food a lot.
It takes a little conscious effort to stick to a diet consisting of fresh meat and vegetables.
On the negative side, don't consume sugar, grains, processed foods, vegetables oil, hydrogenated oil, anything that comes in a can or packet and the mass-produced commercial food that surrounds us these days.
Eat fruits, berries and nuts in moderation and try to get them as fresh as you can.
Learn to listen to your body about hunger and feeding patterns.
Too often we eat without needing to.
And it's also okay to skip meals occasionally.
Your body can adapt and burn fat much better when you follow an intermittent or sporadic eating pattern.
