Natural Treatment For Baldness

103 1
There are many causes for hair loss and probably twice as many old wives tales when it comes to helping it re-grow! Hair loss can happen in children and adults alike, and it is not just adult men who can suffer - women can also be the victim of thinning hair.
If the baldness is due to alopecia or infection, as is often the case with children and women, this is more of a medical problem.
Alopecia can be triggered by stress or diabetes or there may be some other underlying medical cause.
If, however, we are talking about the thinning hair of a gentleman that has reached that time of his life when it is considered normal to see his hair line retreat, then a natural treatment for baldness may be of interest.
There are very many myths and rumours surrounding hair loss and its treatment.
Some will tell you that they have a friend of a friend whose hair re-grew after rubbing mustard onto their scalp, or perhaps standing on their head worked wonders.
A great many of these are nonsense, but some of them do have their roots in the world of science (sorry about mentioning the word 'roots' to any of you who are a little touchy!).
Rubbing mustard may well have worked, but it was probably the rubbing that helped as much as anything.
Also the standing on the head could have helped.
Both of these are viable as they will increase the flow of blood to the scalp and this in turn will encourage the hair follicles to grow.
This is just one natural treatment for baldness that you will hear from many specialists.
Many specialists have produced hair growth products which they claim will restore your lost locks to some degree and thicken and retain the hair that you still have.
Some of these are not in the least bit natural and are full of chemicals to stimulate hair growth.
Many of these are not classified as drugs and have not been through the rigours of testing and study necessary to be classified.
For this reason their safety is relatively unknown and any side effects as yet uncharted.
These, depending on your viewpoint, may not be a great idea.
A natural treatment for baldness will be safe and can be combined with other natural treatments to help combat the problem.
According to many, diet can be a contributing factor in all cases of baldness and thinning hair.
In women hypochlorhydria can be a major cause.
This is a condition where protein is not digested adequately due to insufficient stomach acid.
Once this has been diagnosed by a specialist you will be able to address the problem through you diet and your hair should start to re-grow and thicken.
Deficiencies in Folic acid and vitamin B are also known to cause hair loss and supplementing your diet with these nutrients should help anyone whose hair is thinning.
A correct and balanced diet is paramount as a natural treatment for baldness.
Massaging the scalp with oils is very beneficial.
Any essential oils that are listed as being good for circulation should definitely help and there are many commercially prepared products which would be an excellent natural treatment for baldness.
You will find that you have a great choice without having to go to the extreme of a very painful and expensive hair transplant.
