- 1). Launch Quicken Home & Business 2008 by clicking on the program's shortcut in the "Intuit" folder of your Windows Start menu.
- 2). Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Security."
- 3). Click on the "Printing" tab and deactivate the check box next to "Write checks" under the "Transactions" category. A dialog box will then pop up, asking you for the master password. The master password is the password you created when you installed Quicken Home & Business 2008. Type it in the field and click on "OK" to save your new settings.
